A YEAR OF CHEER

At Hudson, celebrating together is part of how we stay connected, energized, and motivated throughout the year. From springtime Easter egg hunts to fall pumpkin contests—and plenty of fun in between—our holiday celebrations and staff events are designed to bring people together and keep morale high, even during busy seasons.

Behind the scenes, the Hudson Employee Activity Team (HEAT) is hard at work making it happen. This dedicated group meets monthly to brainstorm ideas, plan ahead, and ensure there’s at least one engaging event for staff each month. Their goal is simple: create moments that spark connection, boost engagement, and remind everyone that Hudson is not just a place to work, but a community to enjoy being part of.

SPRING & SUMMER

We kicked off a year of cheer with Valentine’s Day chocolates for our staff, courtesy of Wockenfuss Candies! In April, The HEAT team hosted an Easter Egg Hunt for staff members to search around the administrative building for hidden treats!

FALL

The Fall season was a time for celebrating Halloween, and our team went all out with the staff costume contest and pumpkin painting contest!

WINTER

Our team participated in Spirit Week in December, with dress-up days like Bling Day, Grinch Day, and Plaid Day. Patients got in the spirit as well by decorating trees in housing. The counseling team on campus distributed Christmas presents to patients to spread holiday cheer! Our annual Christmas party, hosted in the Leslie Brown Enrichment Center, was all about fellowship, delicious food, and fun activities for staff.

About us

Hudson Behavioral Health was formed in 1980 (as Hudson Health Services, Inc.) to bring the first residential recovery program to the Eastern Shore. Today, thousands of patients later, we remain the leader in recovery programs and resources, with our staff of 125 committed to serving each patient as an individual.
