Hudson Welcomes Director of Accounting Rita Mecca
Salisbury, Md. – May 18, 2021 – Hudson Behavioral Health has hired Rita Mecca as its new Director of Accounting. Mecca joins the organization with a diverse accounting background spanning more than twenty years.
In her role at Hudson Behavioral Health, Mecca is responsible for assisting CEO Leslie Brown with preparation of the annual budget and audit, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and reporting and reconciliations.
“We were in need of an individual with a strong background to lead our accounting department, and Rita has filled that role efficiently and effectively,” said Leslie Brown, CEO of Hudson Behavioral Health. “As we continue to grow our presence on the Delmarva Peninsula, Rita will serve as an asset to our team.”
Mecca received her B.S. in Accounting from Marywood College in Scranton, PA, and later went on to earn an M.B.A. from Salisbury University in 2003. She previously served as Controller of Tyson Foods in Berlin, MD and Airpax Corporation in Cambridge, MD, and most recently was a Senior Financial Analyst at Tidal Health. Mecca is a current member of IMA: The Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals.
